The Outlet Youth & Family Support Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist specializing in trauma recovery for a full-time role. The ideal candidate will be a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) committed to fostering an environment of safety, compassion, and healing for individuals struggling with mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your main responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' histories and create effective treatment strategies tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that not only address trauma recovery but also focus on building resilience and enhancing coping mechanisms.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Providing support during crisis situations, ensuring that patients receive appropriate interventions in a timely manner.

• Engaging with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health care professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for our patients.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping strategies.

• Maintaining meticulous documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to track progress effectively.

• Participating in team meetings and professional development activities to stay current with best practices in trauma-informed care and therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on providing therapeutic services primarily to adolescents, young adults, and their families who are navigating the complexities of trauma. Clients may be dealing with the aftereffects of abuse, neglect, or other overwhelming life experiences. As a therapist, your insights and interventions will play a crucial role in their journey toward recovery, resilience, and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
