Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, enabling you to work from anywhere while adhering to a structured schedule. You will engage with clients through our secure telehealth platform, which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure confidentiality and ease of access. Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, this position offers professionalism and flexibility, allowing you to address patient needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments during the initial sessions to understand each patient's unique trauma history and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and recovery.
\n
• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients to process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and enhance their self-awareness and resilience.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals in designing integrated care approaches that address the diverse needs of patients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention support during emergencies related to trauma, providing immediate and effective strategies to assist clients in distress.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and healthy coping mechanisms, equipping them with the tools necessary for ongoing recovery.

• Ensure precise and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, contribute to team meetings, and participate in continuing education opportunities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed of advancements in trauma therapy practices and integrate them into your therapeutic approach when appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from various forms of trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients represent a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, each requiring tailored therapeutic approaches that honor their unique journeys toward healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, as well as computer applications necessary for telehealth services.

• The ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations while addressing complex emotional needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, ideally in a trauma-focused therapeutic setting.
