Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories, ensuring a clear understanding of their unique experiences and treatment needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, including setting measurable goals and adjusting approaches as needed.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective healing processes.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions to enable patients to process their traumas, develop effective coping strategies, and build connections with peers.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals to offer integrated and holistic care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate access to appropriate resources and support.

• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to foster greater understanding and agency in their recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accountability in care delivery.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education sessions that focus on trauma-informed care methodologies and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to domestic violence, childhood abuse, and loss. Our patient population is diverse, and your role will involve adapting therapy techniques to meet the individual needs, circumstances, and cultural backgrounds of each client. Your work will directly contribute to their healing, understanding, and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Arizona is required.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and approaches to resilience-building.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between $90,000 and $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
