Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Bright Health, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to accurately diagnose various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, adjusting plans as necessary based on patient progress and needs.

• Facilitating referrals to additional services such as community resources, treatment programs, and support groups to enhance patient well-being.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, psychiatrists, and social workers, to formulate discharge plans that ensure continuity of care.

• Maintaining compliance with state and federal mental health regulations, ensuring all practices adhere to the Mental Health Practice Act.

• Organizing daily tasks to prioritize patient needs effectively, addressing new, ongoing, and discharging patients equitably.

• Providing crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and bereavement support as necessary.

• Acting as an advocate for patients, ensuring their rights and needs are communicated clearly among care teams and external agencies.

• Identifying at-risk patients for readmission or complex discharge needs, coordinating with care providers to strategize care plans.

The clients you will work with encompass a broad spectrum, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current State Licensure as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Psychologist.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, with an additional sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 based on qualifications.
