Key Responsibilities\n

The successful candidate will engage in a variety of tasks that are integral to the mental health treatment process, including:

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Providing educational resources and support to clients and their families, guiding them on mood disorders, potential treatment paths, and practical self-care strategies.

• Monitoring clients' progress and modifying treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes throughout the therapeutic journey.

• Engaging in multi-disciplinary collaboration, liaising with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will primarily focus on individuals dealing with various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds, bringing unique experiences and needs that require a tailored approach. Counselors are expected to establish a deep rapport with clients, fostering a safe space for open dialogue and healing.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.

• Strong knowledge and demonstrable experience in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
