Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, utilizing telehealth technologies to deliver services effectively. You will work autonomously while staying connected with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals dedicated to trauma-informed care. The role offers flexibility, creating a perfect work-life balance while providing essential support to our clients. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of additional flexibility depending on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and develop tailored treatment plans that focus on recovery and resilience.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individualized and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrative approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate support and resources.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them to engage actively in their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficiency.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously refine and improve therapeutic offerings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on treating individuals affected by trauma, including those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our ideal therapist will skillfully navigate the unique needs and challenges faced by these clients, fostering an empathetic and understanding environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience building necessary for effective therapy.

• Demonstrated expertise in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to care.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $90,000 and $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
