Work Environment\n

This role is designed to accommodate a remote work environment, allowing for flexibility and comfort as you engage with clients virtually. However, you will also have the chance to work in our modern outpatient office in Henderson when needed, collaborating directly with other mental health professionals in a supportive and enriching atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand clients’ backgrounds and develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, utilizing techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help clients process their experiences and cultivate coping skills.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care, addressing the multifaceted needs of clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support when clients face trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

• Offer educational resources to clients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping strategies.

• Maintain rigorous documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards while ensuring client confidentiality is prioritized.

• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in team meetings and case consultations focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and evolving best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
