Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s history and identify effective treatment methodologies.

• Develop and execute tailored treatment plans focusing on overcoming trauma, enhancing resilience, and meeting individualized care goals.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their recovery journey.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that assist patients in processing their trauma experiences and cultivating coping strategies for recovery and healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other allied health professionals to structure an integrated care approach necessary for the best patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a safe environment for sharing and healing.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and available coping mechanisms, while also providing resource guidance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and active licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience post-licensure, emphasizing trauma-focused therapy.

• Experience conducting trauma assessments and apply suitable therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
