Work Environment\n

Operating in a remote setting allows you to deliver compassionate care from the comfort of your own space while staying completely connected with our collaborative team. Our work hours are primarily Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the needs of our patients. As a telehealth provider, you will utilize a variety of digital platforms to conduct therapy sessions and engage with clients, supported by a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) system that ensures seamless interaction and documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the psychological and emotional history of your clients, tailoring treatments to their unique needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering resilience and recovery for clients struggling with trauma-related disorders.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support to clients in trauma-related distress.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping strategies, enhancing their understanding of the healing process.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation to adhere to ethical and legal standards, ensuring all patient history and treatment approaches are meticulously recorded.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through case consultations and training, staying updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create an integrated care approach that addresses all facets of client well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on individuals dealing with the aftermath of trauma, including but not limited to survivors of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, as well as veterans and first responders coping with PTSD. The therapeutic interventions employed will be closely aligned with our trauma-informed approach, which prioritizes safety, trust, and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly with trauma-informed settings preferred.

• Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach towards patient care.

• Adept at utilizing technology and EHR systems for patient management and care coordination.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions, particularly EMDR or TF-CBT.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy delivery is a plus.

• Previous experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
