Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to analyze patients' trauma backgrounds and devise suitable treatment plans.

• Implement individualized treatment strategies that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall emotional well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing patients with a supportive environment to process their trauma and learn effective coping mechanisms.
\n
• Coordinate closely with psychiatrists, fellow therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during situations that require immediate attention related to trauma.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance their recovery journey.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards governing mental health care.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to strengthen our trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest advances in trauma therapy to ensure the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving clients who have experienced traumatic events, including but not limited to individuals with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. By utilizing a trauma-informed lens, you will help these clients work through their experiences in a safe, empathetic setting, fostering an environment conducive to recovery and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A profound understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology used in remote therapy settings.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a focus on trauma therapy.

• Experience applying trauma-focused therapies and providing effective interventions in a clinical setting.

• A history of working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
