Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans dedicated to trauma recovery and fostering resilience among patients.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in processing their experiences.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques intended to help patients develop coping mechanisms and promote their healing journey.

• Collaborate regularly with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic, integrated care for patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention as needed, particularly during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and support.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources to empower them throughout their healing process.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to continually enhance trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed mental health therapist at Millennial Counseling Centre, you will work predominantly with individuals experiencing complex trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dissociative disorders, and other trauma-related conditions. Your role will focus on providing specialized interventions for trauma survivors across diverse backgrounds, underscoring our commitment to inclusivity and personalized care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and demonstrated proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.
