Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews with clients to gather information and document their cases from the initial consultation through the completion of treatment.

• Assess clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health to determine appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations.
\n
• Design and implement effective intervention and recovery plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and group therapy scenarios.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.
\n
• Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress through regular assessments and documentation, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
\n
• Provide follow-up support and communication with treating psychiatrists and medical providers for clients who may require hospitalization.
\n
• Identify and mitigate negative behaviors affecting client recovery, offering strategic solutions and coping mechanisms.
\n
• Support family members and primary caregivers in managing mental and behavioral challenges through guidance and resource sharing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele we serve encompasses individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor with the ability to navigate complex client situations effectively.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to manage client documentation and care plans.
\n
• Familiarity with managing clients dealing with co-occurring physical health issues and substance use disorders.
\n
• Understanding and application of the best practices promoted by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities to foster clear dialogue with clients and interdisciplinary team members.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy and a supportive nature to engage with clients effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing group therapy and workshops.
\n
• Background in addressing addiction issues and familiarity with recovery support methodologies.
\n
• Understanding the effects and implications of medications prescribed by healthcare providers in relation to mental health treatments.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a sign-on bonus, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
