Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial consultations through virtual interviews to gather comprehensive client histories and document findings thoroughly.

• Perform thorough assessments of clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to identify their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, effectively employing various therapeutic techniques to foster healing and resilience.
\n
• Monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and case managers, to streamline referrals and enhance client support.

• Maintain accurate records using electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.
\n
• Educate and support families and primary caregivers, equipping them with strategies to manage the mental health challenges their loved ones face.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on individuals and families facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and other behavioral health challenges. You will apply your knowledge and skills to make a meaningful difference in the lives of your clients, supporting their journey toward recovery and well-being, thereby contributing to improved overall community health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective interactions with clients and team members.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor, particularly in a community health setting.

• Knowledge of and experience with addiction disorders and co-occurring physical health conditions.
\n
• Familiarity with the latest practices from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and evidence-based modalities.

• Understanding of the medications commonly prescribed for mental health conditions and their side effects.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic nature, essential for building rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging between $80,000 and $100,000, complemented by a generous sign-on bonus.
