This position is remote, allowing counselors to work from home while engaging with clients through virtual sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct preliminary interviews with clients, documenting their needs and mental health backgrounds to inform treatment plans.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health through evidence-based assessments and diagnostic tools.
\n
• Develop individualized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere for clients to share and heal.
\n
• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout their treatment journeys, adjusting treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers to implement comprehensive care strategies.
\n
• Follow-up with healthcare professionals for clients who have been hospitalized, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
\n
• Identify barriers to recovery and actively work to mitigate behaviors that hinder clients’ progress.
\n
• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with tools to help manage mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base includes individuals from diverse backgrounds, facing various mental health issues. We provide services to those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. Understanding and addressing the unique perspectives and challenges of our clients is at the forefront of our services. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably with experience using AVATAR.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing successful cases of intervention and client recovery.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.

• In-depth knowledge of how prescribed medications can affect mental health and treatment.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong emphasis on interpersonal interaction.

• Diverse clinical experience, demonstrating adaptability to varying client needs and treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, with the potential for a sign-on bonus.
