Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each client’s unique trauma history, determining appropriate individualized treatment approaches.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience building, and overall wellbeing.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging clients to process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and engage in the healing process.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses the multifaceted needs of clients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and immediate access to appropriate resources.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and advocate for community resources that support ongoing recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
