This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to provide critical mental health support to clients navigating the complexities of trauma. Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility while maintaining access to a collaborative outpatient office environment. Our culture centers on fostering teamwork among therapists, psychiatrists, and support staff. During your scheduled hours, you will maintain a work schedule of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility available based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients’ trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment paths.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans emphasizing trauma recovery and resilience-building, ensuring alignment with best practices.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate the healing process.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, enhance coping abilities, and promote emotional well-being.

• Engage in collaborative care by coordinating with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive support for patients.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing trauma-related challenges to ensure their safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities focusing on trauma-informed practices and current research.

• Stay informed on the evolving landscape of trauma therapy, integrating new evidence and methodologies into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients facing various trauma-related issues, including but not limited to, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population includes adults and adolescents who seek compassionate care to navigate their recovery journeys. By focusing on evidence-based solutions, we empower our clients to reclaim their lives through healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and respond effectively in crisis situations.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology.
\n
• Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Preferred Experience\n

Professional experience that includes providing trauma-informed therapy in outpatient settings is highly valued. Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches and a commitment to lifelong learning through continuing education will enhance your application. Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
