Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to identify patients’ trauma histories and formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address the psychological impact of trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process trauma, express emotions, and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention to clients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma and equip them with practical tools and resources for recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
