Work Environment\n

In this remote position, you will have the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions and engage with patients from the comfort of your home while still being part of a close-knit team. Your primary work hours will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility may be required based on patient needs or schedule demands.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and ascertain the most effective treatment strategies.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that are tailored to each individual’s recovery journey, focusing on trauma resilience and emotional well-being.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address trauma-related symptoms.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive atmosphere for patients to process their experiences and develop essential coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health care professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for patients, facilitating a multi-disciplinary approach to healing.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive timely assistance when they need it most.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them with knowledge and resources for their recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and respectful documentation in accordance with professional standards to promote patient confidentiality and care continuity.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

• Proficient knowledge in delivering trauma-specific therapies with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
