This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct sessions from the comfort of your own space while reaching clients across Texas. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews with clients, documenting their mental health history and treatment progress from the initial consultation through to discharge.
\n
• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health status using standardized assessment tools and clinical judgment.
\n
• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
\n
• Monitor and document client progress regularly throughout treatment and adjust plans as needed based on ongoing assessments.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to design and implement holistic intervention strategies.
\n
• Ensure continuity of care by following up with medical professionals regarding any clients who require hospitalization or specialized treatment services.
\n
• Identify and proactively address behaviors that may hinder recovery, equipping clients with skills and tools to foster resilience.
\n
• Engage with family members and primary caregivers to provide education and support for managing challenges related to mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, addiction issues, and more. You will provide culturally competent care that respects and addresses the unique experiences and backgrounds of each individual. Our focus is on creating a safe and non-judgmental environment that encourages open communication and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably with experience in AVATAR or similar platforms.
\n
• Strong communication skills that support clear documentation and effective client interaction.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor within a telehealth setting is preferred.
\n
• Expertise in dealing with co-occurring disorders and an understanding of addiction treatment modalities.
\n
• Knowledge of the best practices recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Deep understanding of the effects of psychotropic medications that clients may be prescribed.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and support that fosters therapeutic relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Crestpoint offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, with opportunities for a sign-on bonus for exceptional candidates.
