Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your role will include various essential responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and psychological needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans targeting trauma recovery, incorporating techniques that promote resilience.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, learn effective coping mechanisms, and achieve overall healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health care professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate therapeutic support is available.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources to promote understanding and empathy.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing symptoms related to trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and strong familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technologies to document patient interactions efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with a strong academic background or relevant internships may still be considered.
