Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will undertake a variety of key responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments, accurately evaluating patients' histories to formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each client’s needs.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for patients to process trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Providing crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing strong clinical skills to manage high-stress situations effectively.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and strategies for maintaining wellness.

• Keeping meticulous records and maintaining compliance with legal and ethical guidelines in documentation practices.

• Engaging in team discussions and case consultations to enhance collaborative care and maintain a high standard of treatment quality.

• Staying abreast of the latest research in trauma therapy and integrating new findings into clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Mindful Healing Solutions, our focus is on individuals who are navigating the challenges of trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By employing trauma-informed techniques and building strong therapeutic relationships, you will play an instrumental role in helping clients develop resilience and long-term healing strategies.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this vital role, candidates must hold a:

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders, with informed knowledge of the best practices and therapies utilized within this specialty.

• Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both patients and team members, reflecting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications to manage patient information and care documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with:

Compensation and Benefits\n
