Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to determine mental health status and treatment needs, utilizing standardized tools and engaging interviews.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic approaches to assist clients in overcoming challenges.

• Engage with clients on a regular basis through individual and group therapy sessions, providing consistent support, guidance, and resources.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records, document progress, and adapt treatment plans accordingly.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive care coordination and management of client needs.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies effectively, demonstrating calmness and compassion in high-pressure situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will involve working with a varied client base, including individuals facing substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. The ideal candidate will possess the skills to create a safe and trusting environment that embraces cultural differences and addresses the complex factors influencing each client’s health.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or equivalent in the state of Georgia is required.
\n
• A minimum of four years of professional clinical experience, including individual and group therapy settings.
\n
• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to foster connections with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A commitment to upholding professional ethics, confidentiality, and clinical best practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a telehealth capacity, showcasing adaptability to virtual health environments.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is advantageous to manage patient data seamlessly.

• Training or certification in specialized therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
