Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that provide a safe space for clients to process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Helping Hands Counseling Services, you will primarily work with adult clients struggling with the aftermath of trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Georgia.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
