Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate patients' trauma histories and inform the development of tailored treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and build resilience, adapting approaches to each patient's unique needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to help patients process trauma effectively.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment where patients can share experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and work towards healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure patients receive integrated and holistic care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and guidance for patients and their families.

• Educate patients and their loved ones about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to strengthen their support networks.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with both legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient records.

The patients served at Stem Psychological Center include adults and adolescents who have experienced various types of trauma, often manifesting in complex mental health challenges. Our therapists work closely with individuals suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, providing a patient-centered approach that addresses the unique intricacies of each individual's experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in trauma-informed settings.

• In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities, along with experience in delivering effective trauma-focused therapies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a nurturing and non-judgmental demeanor when interacting with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
