Key Responsibilities\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington state is essential.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) with a passing score.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective engagement with clients and collaboration with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of previous experience as a mental health counselor, with an emphasis on outpatient services preferred.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, specifically AVATAR, for efficient case management and documentation.

• Experience addressing co-occurring disorders, including underlying physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction issues.

• Thorough understanding of American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and evidence-based interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Inner Calm Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. We also provide a sign-on bonus to qualified applicants.
