This position offers the flexibility of remote work, enabling you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while contributing to our mission of trauma recovery. While your schedule will primarily be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility will be necessary based on patient needs, ensuring that we provide care whenever our clients require support. Our team is deeply collaborative, using technology and EHR systems to create seamless communication and integrated treatment plans that prioritize patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ psychological histories and current mental health challenges.

• Create, execute, and modify individualized treatment plans tailored specifically to each patient’s journey towards recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to help patients process their trauma.

• Offer both individual and group therapy sessions designed to empower patients in developing effective coping mechanisms and foster an environment for healing.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive, integrated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calm under pressure and compassion.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, while sharing valuable resources to aid in their journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy by participating in continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including but not limited to adult survivors of domestic violence, childhood abuse, and those facing mental distress due to various life circumstances. Your role is pivotal in guiding these patients through their recovery journey, providing them tailored support to foster resilience and empower their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada is essential.

• Strong foundational knowledge and skills in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to care.

• Able to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, ensuring patient safety and trust.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications is necessary for efficient documentation and coordination.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred. Candidates with specific training in trauma therapy methodologies, including EMDR and TF-CBT, will be highly regarded. Additionally, experience working in community health settings or outpatient clinics is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
