Work Environment\n

This position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing therapists to engage with patients from the comfort of their own space. Our practice values flexibility, understanding that therapy may require adjustments to accommodate patients' schedules and needs. Full-time team members typically work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional adjustments based on client demands.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to capture patients’ backgrounds and needs effectively.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that cater to the individual recovery journeys of our clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in one-on-one or group therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention services in response to trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support for clients in distress.

• Facilitate collaborative discussions with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to assure comprehensive and integrated patient care.

• Offer educational resources to patients and families about trauma responses and coping strategies, enhancing their understanding and recovery process.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards to secure patient information and treatment history.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves individuals grappling with the lasting effects of trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and systemic violence. Our clients often present with complex mental health issues relating to PTSD and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
