Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews, ensuring accurate documentation from the initial consultation through to the conclusion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health using evidence-based methodologies.
\n
• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for diverse client populations, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote healing and personal growth.
\n
• Monitor and assess client progress throughout the treatment process, adapting plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including other mental health specialists, medical doctors, nurses, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Provide follow-up communication with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.
\n
• Identify and intervene promptly to prevent behaviors that may hinder recovery, maintaining a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Offer guidance and resources to family members and primary caregivers to help them support clients effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on providing services to a diverse client base, including individuals coping with a range of disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Your insights and methods will play a crucial role in fostering emotional resilience and encouraging clients to find hope and support in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling that showcases your ability to support clients effectively.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain thorough and accurate documentation.

• Experience working with clients who have co-occurring physical health issues or substance use disorders, enhancing your holistic approach to therapy.

• Knowledge and application of American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices in your therapeutic techniques.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and outside resources.

• Exceptional interpersonal abilities to build rapport and foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually and comes with a sign-on bonus.
