Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to engage with clients via Telehealth platforms, ensuring flexibility and convenience in managing your work schedule. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, maintaining communication and support through virtual interactions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain insight into clients' unique experiences, ensuring that treatment plans reflect their specific needs and circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions customized for individual clients, respecting their cultural backgrounds and personal contexts.

• Provide engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions that aim to address a range of mental health issues and foster overall resilience in clients.

• Collaborate actively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, employing your expertise to manage challenging situations effectively.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, as well as community resources that may enhance their therapeutic journey.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training, continuously improving your skills in delivering inclusive care.

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals from ethnic and cultural minority backgrounds, LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrant groups. Your clinical expertise will help drive equitable access to mental health resources and ensure that the care provided is respectful and understanding of each client's unique cultural perspectives and values.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A strong foundation in mental health disorders, evidence-based intervention methods, and cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy utilizing culturally informed approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention abilities, with a calm and composed demeanor in challenging situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with diverse clients and their families.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

• A firm commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and confidentiality.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
