Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.

• Provide evidence-based therapy services using a variety of techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and solution-focused therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.

• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals, to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to client treatment.

• Deliver crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute distress, offering immediate support and strategies to regain stability.
\n
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about mental health resources and destigmatize mental health issues, conducting workshops and informational sessions when possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The client population at Livewell Therapy includes adults, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Georgia.

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, foster rapport with clients, and implement therapeutic strategies that lead to positive outcomes.

• Strong cultural competence and the ability to work with individuals from various backgrounds and experiences.

• Exceptional organizational skills to maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.
