Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while still being a vital part of our Macon facility's operations, creating a blend that promotes both autonomy and teamwork. The role entails a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. You will leverage technology and our electronic health record (EHR) system to efficiently manage your caseload and maintain accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gather insights into patients’ unique experiences and clinical needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that address individual patient backgrounds and concerns.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to promote emotional resilience and well-being among clients dealing with mental health issues.

• Collaborate with an integrated team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists to ensure the provision of comprehensive care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during moments of mental health emergencies, demonstrating efficacy and empathy while managing stress in challenging situations.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and pertinent community resources to empower informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring patient confidentiality across all records.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Licensure: A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Cultural Competence: A strong understanding of mental health disorders along with cultural considerations in therapy.

• Therapeutic Skills: Experience providing individual and group therapy informed by culturally responsive practices and evidence-based approaches.

• Crisis Management: Demonstrated crisis intervention abilities and the capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While the position requires at least two years of relevant experience, candidates with additional experience in culturally informed therapy, crisis intervention, or community mental health settings will be favorably regarded.

Blaze Health offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, contingent upon experience and qualifications.
