Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and tailor treatment plans that support effective recovery.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery strategies and resilience-building techniques.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address patients’ specific needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, build coping mechanisms, and foster an environment of healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to integrate care, ensuring a holistic approach to each client's well-being.

• Provide necessary crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support for patients in distress.

• Educate and empower patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines to uphold confidentiality and quality care standards.

• Engage in team consultations, professional development activities, and continuous learning to remain current with best practices in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will focus on supporting individuals grappling with trauma-related challenges. You will engage primarily with clients experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By employing a trauma-informed lens in your practice, you will contribute significantly to their recovery journey, helping them to regain control over their lives and develop skills to navigate their experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, with preference given to candidates with trauma-focused practice experience.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building methods.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
