Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and tailor appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Collaborate with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic models.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their experiences, cultivate coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.

• Implement specialized therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist in trauma recovery.

• Engage in coordinated care by working closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive prompt and appropriate care.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources to facilitate ongoing support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal standards, reflecting patients' progress and treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals affected by various trauma-related disorders, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in guiding these patients through their recovery journeys, empowering them to confront and process their experiences in a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, ideally in a clinical setting focused on trauma-informed care.

The estimated annual salary for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
