Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed evaluations for patients, delving into their trauma histories to inform appropriate treatment selections.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to foster recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process trauma and improve coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare providers to integrate care plans effectively, ensuring holistic treatment for our patients.

• Respond to trauma-related crises, providing immediate intervention and support where necessary.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms to enhance understanding and facilitate recovery.

• Maintain meticulous documentation to ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, safeguarding client confidentiality.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to continuously improve patient care outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily consist of individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. We are committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community, providing a safe space for trauma survivors to heal and reclaim their narratives.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or psychologist.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and trauma-related disorders.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a nonjudgmental and supportive demeanor.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress environments and foster trust among clients.
\n
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in various digital applications for efficient case management.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is encouraged, it is not a strict requirement. We value demonstrated experience in trauma-focused interventions and therapeutic practices. A familiarity with techniques to foster resilience and recovery among trauma survivors is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
