Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting through our telehealth platform. You will engage with clients in the comfort of their own environments, making therapy accessible and convenient. The work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs, ensuring that you can meet them where they are in their recovery process.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify clients' trauma histories and tailor appropriate treatment methodologies.

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and personal empowerment.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions to enable clients to process trauma, develop effective coping skills, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to client health.

• Providing crisis intervention support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, utilizing established protocols to ensure their safety.

• Educating clients and their families on the mechanisms of trauma responses and coping strategies, fostering a collaborative and informed healing environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clients will include individuals who are navigating the challenges associated with trauma, including those dealing with PTSD and complex trauma responses. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care practices, with a particular focus on resilience-building approaches.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with:

Compensation and Benefits\n
