Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand clients' histories and identify appropriate treatment methodologies tailored for trauma recovery.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on healing from trauma and enhancing resilience through innovative therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing proven techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment approach, ensuring all aspects of a client's mental health are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention services, demonstrating immediate support during trauma-related emergencies or acute distress.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

• Participate in regular case reviews and interdisciplinary team meetings, staying abreast of current best practices in trauma-informed care through continuous education.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with individuals experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This role requires a deep understanding of the complexities associated with trauma and an ability to develop effective therapeutic relationships with clients who may be hesitant or reluctant to engage. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
