Work Environment\n

This position allows for flexibility as it is primarily remote, helping us cater to the needs of our diverse patient population efficiently. Our workflow is designed to facilitate effective online therapy sessions and assessments, while ensuring that therapists have robust support from the administrative and clinical team. Our operating hours are typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your role will encompass a variety of essential tasks, including:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to gauge clients' trauma histories and current mental health status.

• Formulating tailored treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall emotional well-being.

• Implementing scientifically-backed therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to help clients articulate and process their trauma experiences, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster a healing journey.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals for holistic, integrated patient care.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting.
