In the role of Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will work in a fully remote setting, leveraging technology to connect with clients across El Paso, Texas, and beyond. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories and form personalized treatment plans.

• Implement individualized treatment strategies aimed at trauma recovery, utilizing established therapeutic modalities such as EMDR and TF-CBT.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, supporting clients in processing their experiences and developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care and ensure a cohesive treatment experience for every client.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring responsive and compassionate care.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and available coping resources, empowering them through knowledge and understanding.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation according to legal and ethical standards, ensuring meticulous record-keeping of all patient interactions.

• Engage in continuous professional development, staying abreast of new research, therapeutic techniques, and case consultation practices specific to trauma-informed care.

• Participate actively in team meetings and collaborative discussions aimed at refining treatment approaches and improving patient outcomes.

The clients you will serve include individuals facing the challenges of trauma-related conditions, encompassing PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Many clients will have diverse backgrounds and varying levels of resilience, making it imperative that you tailor your approach to meet their unique needs. Your role will significantly contribute to their ability to heal and thrive in both personal and communal contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure to practice as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

• Proficient understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Strong communication skills and the capability to maintain a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Competence in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital tools for clinical documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
