Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to determine each patient’s unique history and treatment needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapy modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to help clients effectively process their trauma.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on emotional healing, skill-building, and trauma coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and stability.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping techniques, and resources available for additional support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical requirements.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations that emphasize trauma-informed care practices.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid and current state licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• A passion for trauma-informed care and a demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatments.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect compassionately with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
