Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients' histories, strengths, and unique treatment needs.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, incorporating techniques like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and enhance overall well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, healthcare providers, and community resources to provide integrated care tailored to each patient’s needs.

• Manage crisis interventions during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely support and stabilization.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing trauma-related mental health issues. This includes providing support to those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By utilizing trauma-informed care, you will help clients rebuild their lives, navigate their healing process, and develop resilience in the face of life’s challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment methods, and resilience strategies.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, displaying a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n
