Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history and current mental health status.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate skill-building workshops and group therapy sessions that empower patients to navigate their healing journey.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.

• Respond to crisis situations effectively and provide immediate interventions as necessary, ensuring patient safety and emotional support.

• Educate clients and families about the effects of trauma, coping strategies, and resources available to support their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on treating clients who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, violence, and adverse childhood experiences. You will work closely with individuals exhibiting symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related issues, helping them build resilience and find pathways to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
