Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, empowering you to conduct therapy sessions via telehealth platforms. This flexibility allows for a work-life balance conducive to your personal well-being while meeting the varied needs of our patients. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to adjust based on patient requirements. You will utilize our integrated electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure efficient patient management.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and determine suitable therapeutic interventions.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to promote trauma recovery and enhance resilience in patients.
  • \n
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and achieving emotional healing.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure cohesive and integrated care for all patients.

  • Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, applying your expertise to de-escalate high-stress situations.

  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available coping mechanisms, guiding them towards taking proactive steps in their recovery.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, safeguarding their privacy and trust.

  • Contribute to team meetings and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your knowledge of trauma-informed care strategies.

  • Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to provide high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will primarily be on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes a wide range of clients, such as military veterans, survivors of abuse, and those facing significant life-altering events. The healing processes you facilitate will emphasize individualized treatment that promotes empowerment and recovery.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • \n
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
  • \n
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with a compassionate, patient-centered attitude.
  • \n
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in electronic health record software and basic computer applications.
  • \n
  • A strong commitment to collaborative teamwork within a multi-disciplinary practice.

Preferred Experience\n

  • At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in trauma-focused settings.
  • \n
  • Proven experience delivering effective trauma-focused therapies.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of resilience-building techniques and frameworks.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
