Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and tailor appropriate treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) within individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate sessions designed to help clients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote ongoing healing.

• Respond to trauma-related crises by providing immediate intervention and support, helping patients navigate their emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records of patient progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with advances in trauma therapy, incorporating new methods and research findings into your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

Quail Run Health System offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
