Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma histories and psychological needs.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that foster recovery and resilience, drawing from the latest trauma-informed practices.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping patients process traumatic experiences and strengthen coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care and integrated support for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them to understand and actively participate in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and procedural requirements.
\n
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing training focused on trauma-informed care methodologies, ensuring the highest standard of practice.

• Stay current with emerging research and best practices in the field of trauma therapy, contributing to a culture of continual improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients are diverse individuals who have experienced varying degrees of trauma, including complex trauma, PTSD, and dissociative disorders. You will work closely with these clients, respecting their unique experiences and promoting an environment where healing can flourish. Your expertise will play a crucial role in their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a supportive and therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed interventions.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client documentation efficiently.

• Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment under pressure.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a preference for those focused on trauma recovery.

• Experience with delivering trauma-informed care in both individual and group settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Benefits include:
