Life Rhythm Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Therapist licensed as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT to join our dynamic team. This full-time position involves delivering specialized mental health care to individuals impacted by trauma, including those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance while still being connected to a collaborative team. The outpatient office setting supports our therapeutic efforts through a combination of virtual and in-person interactions, ensuring that patients receive the right care where and when they need it. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, strengths, and challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental well-being.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to help patients process their trauma experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and foster healing.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to integrated care for each patient.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients are stabilized and connected to ongoing care.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, resilience, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards and reflects ongoing progress and treatment updates.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focusing on trauma-informed care practices.
\n
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary patient population you will work with includes individuals of various ages who are struggling with the effects of trauma. You will be equipped to support adults, adolescents, and children who exhibit symptoms related to PTSD, complex trauma, and other trauma-related mental health disorders. Your approach will be informed by a deep understanding of trauma dynamics and a commitment to creating a safe therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations while delivering therapy effectively.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to patient care.
\n
• A collaborative spirit to effectively work within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, ideally focusing on trauma-informed care.

• Experience in delivering various trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
