Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' history and current mental health status, assisting in the development of tailored treatment approaches.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall wellbeing.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist patients in their recovery journey.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process trauma, develop coping strategies, and enhance their healing journey.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for all patients, discussing treatment effectiveness and patient progress in regular consultations.

• Provide crisis intervention support to individuals in trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calmness and expertise in high-stress situations.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to further support recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system effectively.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities, continuously seeking to improve trauma-informed methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population largely consists of individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to events such as abuse, violence, and natural disasters. We focus on creating a therapeutic environment tailored for trauma survivors, where each individual feels respected and heard.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on trauma-related disorders preferred.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related conditions and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Competence in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions, with a well-rounded skill set in various treatment approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication and a compassionate, client-centered approach.
\n
• A strong ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress circumstances.
\n
• Familiarity with EHR systems and proficiency in basic computer applications necessary for documentation and communication.

• Ability to thrive as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing effectively to a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.
