Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to determine patients' trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, promoting resilience and mental well-being.

• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual therapy and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to offer comprehensive, integrated care to our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and effective response.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, guiding them to available resources in the community.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, including progress notes and treatment history.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about current research, trends, and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other adverse life experiences. Understanding the unique challenges faced by these clients is crucial in developing therapeutic relationships that foster trust and facilitate effective healing. You will engage with a diverse array of clients, including adults and adolescents, providing a supportive space for them to explore their experiences and work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for compassionate, empathetic interactions with clients.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, particularly focusing on trauma-focused therapies. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
