This position is fully remote, allowing therapists to conduct all sessions through our secure telehealth platform. The therapist will primarily operate in their home office, connecting with clients through video calls and managing documentation digitally.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments that evaluate patients' trauma histories, enabling the creation of targeted treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies that promote trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Provide various evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their traumatic experiences and learn effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and holistic care for all patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely responses to patients in distress.

• Offer educational resources and guidance to patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities, contributing to case consultations and staying current with trauma therapy best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically focuses on working with individuals who have experienced one or multiple traumatic events. The therapist will engage with a diverse client population, including those facing PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach are essential for effectively connecting with and positively impacting the lives of these individuals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.

• Commitment to maintaining a trauma-informed perspective in therapeutic practices.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with individuals facing significant emotional challenges.

• Proficiency in technology platforms, including electronic health record (EHR) systems, to efficiently manage patient information and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
