Work Environment\n

In this remote, outpatient setting, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors, to deliver integrated care. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' history and psychological state, ensuring thorough treatment planning.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate therapy groups aimed at fostering community support, sharing coping strategies, and promoting healing among trauma survivors.

• Respond efficiently to crisis situations, providing immediate support and interventions as needed during trauma-related emergencies.

• Offer educational resources to patients and their families regarding trauma responses, available therapeutic methods, and coping strategies.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring patients' safety and privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly with trauma victims, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
