Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Quail Run Health System, your responsibilities will encompass the following:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to understand the unique healing needs and trauma history of each patient.

• Crafting and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on facilitating trauma recovery and building resilience, using collaborative approaches.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including specialized therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Leading individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and guide them through their healing journey.
\n
• Engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Providing timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, including developing safety plans as needed.
\n
• Educating patients and families about the effects of trauma, coping mechanisms, and available resources to foster a supportive home environment.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records to comply with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participating actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development training to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying current with emerging research and innovative practices in trauma therapy to continually improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on supporting individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes but is not limited to those coping with PTSD, complex trauma, and severe stress reactions. You will play a critical role in guiding them through their healing process, providing a safe space for them to share their experiences and challenges.

Qualifications\n

We invite candidates who meet the following qualifications to apply:

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a relevant clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders along with effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused interventions.
\n
• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to engage clients with compassion and authenticity.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, ensuring quality care delivery under pressure.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital tools.

• A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is a robust foundation, candidates with specialized training or certification in EMDR, TF-CBT, or other trauma-informed modalities will be favored. Additionally, experience working in a telehealth setting is a plus, enhancing the convenience and effectiveness of service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
